Date Changed to May 1
Dear Tucson followers,
We are moving our date back one day to Sunday, May 1 due to a conflict with another event going on Campus at the University of Arizona. Hope that does not inconvenience any of you.
Reg will be open early next week for both the Echelon Challenge and Gran Fondo (up Mt Lemmon).
Regards
Hunter Ziesing

Tucson Fondo and Challenge
11-15-10 update
Run the same day, the Echelon Tucson Gran Fondo intends to offer one of the most dramatic climbs Arizona has to offer. Mt Lemmon is just 14 police escorted miles from the start of our anticipated April 9th start 2011 start in or near downtown Tucson. The roll out along the foothills is spectacular and the climb is gradual but long, starting around 2400 feet above ground level and finishing at 8,000 feet. Want to go further up? The road is paved right up to the top of the ski area at 9,153 feet. The views are dramatic as is the weather in April. The climb offers bail outs at any time if you want to turn back but we bet you wont.
Echelon is finalizing plans with the University of AZ for a 12 hour closed cirucut road closure around campus for the Echelon Challenge--a 2 mile ciricut run ride to raise money for the University of Arizona Cancer Center.
